Organised, Hardworking, Makes Great Tea & Coffee
I have keen organisational skills I thrive in a team environment, being able to listen and culminate other people’s ideas and strengths into various projects, to create a cohesive team. I have a keen eye for detail and have a proactive approach to all tasks given to me. I am reliable and I enjoy working under my own initiative as well as being able to prioritise my own workload.
I was recently part of a team creating a documentary ‘The War on Bacteria’ about antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and a possible solution from our contributor Dr Hazel Barton. My role as the Line Producer and Scriptwriter, involved in-depth research of AMR and I successfully organised filming at the London Science Museum interviewing the curator of the Superbugs exhibition, which became the basis for our social media campaign. I am proud that the resultant documentary is both informative and entertaining, being nominated for Best Screenplay at the Herts Vision Festival, the first documentary to do so.
In order to diversify and enhance my Film and TV skills and knowledge in 2017/18, I travelled to Canada to undertake a study year abroad in Motion Picture Art. In that year, I worked on multiple productions both individually and in groups with people from different backgrounds and cultures, gaining international experience as well as growing as a filmmaker.
